En sen aften

Argh. Nu synes jeg at det er sket igen. En dag med de famøse “mange svære
opgaver” og så pludslig har man lavet en masse andet. I dag har jeg f.eks.
udskudt løbeturen 100000gange fordi jeg lige var midt noget. F.eks.

Postfix setup

Nu har jeg tilføjet en smule tekst om mit gamle gamle postfix setup. Nok på tide når jeg har haft det liggende og brugt det (og nogle få andre ligeledes) i 4år. 
Damn jeg har godt brugt en del tid på det her postfix setup gennem tiden. En skam det stadig er forholdsvist usselt, men i det mindste tror jeg at jeg kunne lavet det godt hvis jeg en dag fik tid.
The cat, and life

Mille seemed to be getting better when we visited her yesterday. But today she still isn’t eating by herself, and is very weak. The vet gave us the ultimatium:
“Your bill is now over 5k dkk. Shall we proceed with tube-feeding and perhaps liver-biopsy and other test, approximatly 2-5days more in the hospital, and the likely expence of 15-20k or should we call it a day…”
So now I’m gathering my nerves to give my financial-advisor in the bank the great news that i need 12k for the new appartment and 20k for the cat. She’ll be thrilled I’m sure.
I REALLY need things to start flowing a bit by it self instead of all this shit, with appartment, money, bills, down-payments, sick cat and all the other stuff that doesn’t really fix it self. Why can’t I be allowed to rejoice over vacation, my new interesting 7 week job at DIKU as teaching assistant, and all the other great thing happening ( or so i heard? )

Saturday we got a phonecall from the veternarian that he was in possesion of our cat, Mille, that ran away over a month ago. She was in no good condition
We immediately went to the animal-hospital to see her, and talk to the vet. She lost 6kg which was alot more than 50% of her total, pre-runnaway weight, very confused, and a bit odd. Her muscles were in a bad state, and she was badly dehydrated, and starved. Her liver was enlarged. All in all, in bad shape.
We decided ofcourse to let the vet start all the treatment he was capable off, so she got an iv with water and sugar, blood-samples and possible a tube with food, to get her to feel better. And of course some sedatives, nausea-dampeners and other stuff. That was yesterday.
The blood-samples showed that her body was, in a ok state, regarding vitamins and minerals and the like, but he was concerned that her starvation had caused her to consume the fat from the brain to survive, and she thereby was more or less brain-damaged.
Today we went to see her again. She hasn’t started eating by herself yet which is a bit concerning, but what really kicks me in the stomach is her look in the eyes and her really poor balance and motorics. She didn’t stand at any time during the hour we were there, and when she had to go to the litter-box, she stumbled over the edge and lay down, and peed. A really sad sight 
She seemed happy to see us, and seem to enjoy beeing coudled a bit.
MAN! i hope her muscles and head will get better when she starts to get a bit more to eat. We helped her eat some food-dissolved in water. Not much she managed to eat, but we hope the nurses will take good care of her and maybe feed her via a tube. We really hope soo much that she will be able to get up and move around, eat and so on. It was a happy thing that she knew to go the the kitty-box when she needed to go, but man it allmost threw us around, to see her in such bad shape
Ahhh. .finally!
Jul 14th
The day finally came. Friday and vaction time. I left immediately for Jutland and my parents place.
Great weekend, Saturday in great sun, great food and the family. Very good indeed!
Too bad Maria couldn’t get the weekend off from work.
Saturday even made room for a short reunion with some of the “buddies” from “high school” home i Struer too. Also good even though it got a bit late.
SUNDAY!
Greeeeeeeat koncert in Gentofte. Lots of people only showed up for Rammstein or one of the other bands, but i actually enjoyed all the koncerts. As i wrote in bitretankers blog and mamatux’s blog i actually was a bit disappointed by Rammstein. But great experience. Actually im current using my “Reise Reise” bootleg something t-shirt.
After that I have really been concentrated on vacating (is that a word?)
Still doing it, enjoying the weather. Really enjoying that I don’t have to work during this warm weather
Im also trying to spend some time on getting a bit up-to-date with my running and training. A great inspiration to see mamatux training for marathon. Till now it’s going great. Finding something every day to do. Today im going to vallensbæk to do some good old “bokse motion”.
Strange Day

Pheeew. Im feeling wasted. Strange day with all that action in London and my “special day” where i would like to get everything done, so I can truly relax on my vacation. Why can’t I be allowed to do EVERYTHING all at once. Stupid rules of time and brain-capacity!
Regarding London; I’m very happy to hear that my friend in London is OK, now it would be nice with some real factually news instead of all the rumors and panic-spreading going on.
I didn’t go to the congratz bush concert in fælledparken and I didnt make it to the SP Just Frost concert yesterday. Their last concert during the Jazz Festival is sunday where i’ll obvious not make it either (because of giants of rock). I hope i’ll live.
Im really looking forward to the family party saturday, and weater forecast is looking pretty GREAT! Phewww.. Back to work. Maybe AC/DC will speed up the code process……..
Vacation is anyday now?

I cant wait!!
Another day at work, and im really looking forward to that vacation friday. Yesterday i bought my tickets
for a trip home to my parents and annual summerparty with the family. At first i thought i couldn’t make it,
because of the koncert, i thought was saturday. But i found out that 10th of july is a sunday, and I can make it
all on one weekend. So:
* Friday afternoon, vacation starts and i leave for jutland
* Saturday afternoon, summerparty at Jegindø.
* Sunday morning, traintrip back to Copenhagen
* Sunday evening, koncert in gentofte.
And then thats a weekend spent
This afternoon theres a koncert in fælledparken as a part of some political statement. I’m not that into all those statements, but i’d love to go to that koncert. But the timing is bad, and it’s a long way from Ishøj, espacially when theres porkroast planned for dinner 
Yesterday a jogged to the beach and back again; our boxing lesson was canceled due to vacation.
THERE WAS IT AGAIN! it must be a sign!! it’s time for vacation
